Pepper is a friendly and confident girl and is eager to interact with anyone that comes into her pod. Quite vocal and likes to meow her hello's whilst purring and rubbing up against you.

Likes to be fussed and interacted with and will rub up against you or roll around on her back. Although she shows her belly whilst doing this, she can become quite playful if you rub it and may kick at your hands like she would prey/a toy. Pepper has settled well and is enjoying lots of attention.

As she has a slightly cloudy right eye, she can be a little surprised when she isn't expecting contact and may jump, but she doesn't show signs of going to scratch or run away by this sudden contact. This does not affect her quality of life and she still has vision. It is likely that the cloudiness will stay forever however. It would be best to make movements obvious so she knows what to expect. When coming to us she usually sniffs our hands as a prelude to being stroked and is in seventh heaven when her chin is stroked. If you would like more information on this, do not hesitate to contact a member of our team.

Quite a playful cat who may bat at your hands if you pull away fast/suddenly, but doesn't use her claws. She particularly loves playing with toys/wands that have feathers (we are now on our third, after others have been shredded). She will also use scratch post as part of play. After lots of play she then has a sleep, sometimes in her bed (box) or on our knee, usually wants a hand on her and often puts her head in our hand - very trusting.

Quite a vocal and chatty girl who likes to chat with you. No issues when picking up or handling, quite happy to tolerate being picked up and handled. After reiterating to her that she cannot climb onto sideboard or table she has not pushed those boundaries.

Pepper does not seem to be fussy about food. Pepper loves being brushed, going on the window ledge to sunbathe or watching the world go by is a favourite.
