Fantastic Night at Shireburn Arms

16th Apr 2013

We would like to say a massive thank you to everybody who attended the brilliant evening of live music and hot pot supper at the Shireburn Arms in Hurst Green on Saturday the 23rd of March. We had a really fantastic evening and raised a very impressive grand total of £586.76 for the local animals in our care.

This event was organised by the band, Junction 31 of whom one of our volunteers, Laura Cooper is a member. (Laura is the closest on the right on photo.) The band wowed the crowds all night with a really brilliant set of live music spanning all decades and genres. Junction 31 are a band that are so professional and of such a high standard, the Shireburn have already signed them to come back and play the venue again! They covered music from 1960's soul and 1980's indie to 1990's pop and 1970's funk! The whole audience were amazed by the non stop medley of great songs and we have had nothing but great remarks ever since the event!

We’d like to thank everybody who came and supported us, and special thanks to all of the members of Junction 31 for putting on such an amazing show, and for organising this event for us! Thank you all very much!
